Due to popular demand, tickets for The Play That Goes Wrong are now on sale through October 29, 2023.

Changes are afoot at The Play That Goes Wrong, which welcomes three new cast members to the production now playing at New World Stages starting tonight. Adam Petherbridge will take over the role of Max, reprising the role he played on the national tour, Trevor Braun joins as Dennis, and Clyde Voce makes his Off-Broadway debut as Jonathan.

Shark Week has been an inescapable part of summer in the U.S.  for 34 years. The fear is real. The fascination is palpable. It ended on Sunday. And finally, a week late, the off-Broadway smash The Play That Goes Wrong will celebrate the nation’s obsession with sharks with its own SHARK WEEK at any performance from August 11-14, offering $34.

The long running hit, The Play That Goes Wrong has a whole lotta changes going on and is celebrating a few milestones. It plays at New World Stages. Beginning Monday July 25, Chris Lanceley takes over the role of Chris Bean, Chris French goes on as Jonathan, and Russell Mernagh temporarily joins the company in the role of Max until August 22.

Performances of The Play That Goes Wrong have been cancelled through Monday, May 9 due to breakthrough COVID-19 cases.

The Play That Goes Wrong has taken on audiences in London, on Broadway, and far beyond. Now the beloved play is running off-Broadway at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street), where it is still cracking up theatregoers eight times a week.

The Play That Goes Wrong tickets are now on sale through September 4 and that the show's playing schedule will change effective May 30.

The producers of the international hit comedy The Play That Goes Wrong have announced the cast for the New York production, which will resume performances on the Tony Award winning set at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) on Friday, October 15, 2021.

The Play That Goes Wrong, the Olivier Award-winning box office hit, has announced that it will return to the Duchess Theatre, its home for the last six years, from 19 November 2020.

The premise is simple: a theatrical group who comes together in the hopes of producing their first a?oeprofessionala?? performance, a dramatic murder mystery. The action of it is far from simple as everyone's best intentions turns into everyone's worst nightmares. THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG is burgeoning with classic physical humor and over-the-top personalities that will consume your attention from start to finish.

We were lucky enough to get to speak with Chris French who plays Jonathan Harris in THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG opening at Clowes Memorial Hall February 25th. He had plenty to say about what makes this show something special and why it's a fun departure from the musicals most patrons are used to from Broadway Across America.
