Organ Celebration

(Philadelphia, September 18, 2014)—The Philadelphia Orchestra continues to break new ground as one of the United States' foremost cultural ambassadors with a Monday, September 22, performance at 7:15 PM at the United Nations on the occasion of the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly at the invitation of the Global Sustainable Development Foundation, a new foundation focused on supporting the mission of the United Nations.

The Kimmel Cultural Campus celebrates the holiday season safely and with an array of offerings, designed to appeal to a range of ages and artistic tastes, alongside The Philadelphia Orchestra and the Campus’ esteemed Resident Companies.

The Kimmel Center Cultural Campus, along with Resident Company support from The Philly POPS and the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, celebrates Black History Month in February 2020 with an array of FREE and ticketed programming honoring African American artistic expression and culture.

Philadelphia Orchestra Music Director Yannick Nezet-Seguin and President and CEO Allison Vulgamore today announce The Philadelphia Orchestra's 2014-15 season, the third for Nezet-Seguin, whose leadership of the venerable and innovative ensemble has garnered acclaim from critics and audiences alike since he took the helm in 2012.
