BOBBY – ROLE IS ON OFFER. Early to mid 30s, male lead. Former lead singer of THE LOOP - a one-time rockin' band on Chicago's music scene - turned company man. Passionate, reckless and impulsive. With his tattooed arms covered by his business suits, he's a blue-collar, city guy striving to be blue-blooded in the 'burbs of Milwaukee.
CASSANDRA - ROLE IS ON OFFER. Early to mid 30s, female lead. Smart, disciplined, rational and her Father's loyal lieutenant in their family box making business. Still reeling from her break-up with long-term boyfriend, Tucker, she's taken her angst and put it fully into her work.
ROZ - 40s, Southern-tough, no-nonsense, seen it all, but with a huge heart underneath. She's the kind of truth-telling, impervious-to-BS woman who could only work in Human Resources. Bobby's work wife.
ELI - ROLE IS ON OFFER. 30, The thoughtful, eternally optimistic, de-facto leader of the band and its drummer/keyboards/sax player. He keeps the other guys in line, and puts out their many (literal) fires to keep them on the road to a record deal.
GLENN - ROLE IS ON OFFER. 30, sarcastic, pessimist, full of piss and vinegar who plays - what else - bass for The Loop. He's never forgiven Bobby for leaving the band two years ago and can't comprehend how he's turned in his rock n' roll bona fides for a business suit.
JJ - ROLE IS ON OFFER. 30, laid-back, good-time, go with the flow lead guitarist for The Loop. He just wants things to be cool and is nostalgic for the days when The Loop were just four kids from the neighborhood playing music and having fun.
STONE - ROLE IS ON OFFER. 50s, Cassandra's Father and Bobby's boss. He's an upper-middle class suburban success who loves his work and embraces his quirk. His enthusiasm for selling cardboard boxes would make Ron Popeil blush. The only thing he cares about more than his company is his daughter.
PAIGE - Early to mid 30s, Cassandra's outspoken, fiery, down-for-whatever best friend from college. A new mother desperate for some adult time. She lives in Chicago, is going all-out during her staycation at the Great Lakes Shipping convention with hopes to reunite the Fab Four (Her, Cassandra, Tucker and Wyatt.) But more than that, she cares about her friend and wants to make sure she is happy.
WYATT - ROLE IS ON OFFER. Early to mid 30s, Paige's husband and Tucker's best friend. He's hyper-passionate about everything he does; be it singing with Tucker in their college acappella band, cutting loose on a staycation in Chicago, and most of all, loving his wife.
FJORD - 40s, Swedish. A mad genius, armchair psychologist, with an accent you just can't place. Came to America to find a better life and found it as the CEO of a mid-sized online retailer (with great need for cardboard boxes.) A consummate businessman, he'll go to any length to ensure the most favorable deals for his company.
TUCKER - ROLE IS ON OFFER. 30s, All-American alpha with a good portfolio, great hair and the ego that comes with. Dated Cassandra through grad school, moved to Chicago with her afterwards, broke her heart to find himself. Now, two years later, he has found himself - and he realizes breaking up with her is the biggest mistake of his life (besides going long on Groupon).
NINA - 50s, a no frills, tough love A&R rep who is growing disenchanted with the commodification of the music business. She's given her life to rock n' roll, inspires awe and fear in musicians everywhere, and truly lives to make sure great artists find an audience they can inspire.
