About the play: A story of healing, hope and compassion that looks behind the “ripped from the headlines” sensationalist story of a horrific tragedy to explore its effect on 3 generations of the perpetrator’s family. How do you find redemption when someone you love has committed a terrible crime? Can the families of the evildoers ever live a normal life again, or are they forever defined by the actions of one member?
Linda – Female, late 50s – 60s, white. Mother of Matt. Grandmother of Danny. Once attractively patrician, now weathered, a hoarder, smoker, and loner.
Danny – Male, over 18 to play 17, all ethnicities. Angry loner, awkward, highly intelligent but uncomfortable in his own skin.
Matt – Male, late 30s - 40s, white. Linda’s son, father of Danny. Neat, clean, professional looking. EXIT WOUNDS - LA EPA Page 2 of 3
