Based on the classic story by Miguel Cervantes, with original choreography by Marius Petipa and music by Ludwig Minkus, this ballet set in three acts will be a vivacious experience you do not want to miss!
A family-friendly ballet full of bravery, fantasy, and love, this revered ballet classic centers on Don Quixote, an aging and eccentric nobleman, who imagines himself to be a valiant knight. With his trusted sidekick Sancho Panza in tow, Quixote embarks on a humorous and fateful journey, ready to breathe life into a world where windmills become monsters and adventure await beyond the horizon.

The Cumberland Theatre will continue their New Play Reading Series this month with the play Women of a Certain Age by Steve Duprey. The series features original plays that have not yet been formally produced. Submissions are accepted from all over the country; however, a special emphasis is placed on playwrights who reside in the state of Maryland.
The Cumberland Theatre Season Too! will present 'Tragedy Tomorrow, Trivia Tonight' and interactive evening of Theatre and Broadway trivia on Friday, May 26th at 7:30 pm at the theatre on 101 North Johnson Street.
The Cumberland Theatre Season Too! will help kick off Cumberland Pride week with the premiere of Andy Darling: Life's a Drag - a fabulous celebration of music, cabaret, love, and yes honey...drag! Starring real-life husbands and showbiz extraordinaires, Andy Crosten and Mason Griffin! The show will be presented Saturday, May 27th at 8:00 pm.
Imagination Stage™, the metro DC region’s largest professional theatre for children, provides a light-hearted and colorful treat for ages 5 and up this summer with the musical Nate the Great, running June 22 - August 11.
