Dan Marois It was his time growing up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire where Dan Marois “got the bug” for theater and entertainment. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston University in English and Communications and has spent most of his career in healthcare marketing and public relations. Currently, he is a self-employed writer, actor and producer. He is a co-owner, with his wife, Denise of Mystery for Hire, one of New England's premiere murder mystery dinner theater troupes that has performed to over 75,000 since 1995. (www.mysteryforhire.net) He is also the founder of Mainely Improv-On the Spot Comedy, an improv troupe that performs spontaneously just about anywhere. He has been a theater reviewer for over 20 years having given his commentary for over 300 productions. He’s appeared on stage in such diverse productions as Fiddler on the Roof to Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. He’s personally appeared in nearly 1000 mystery themed dinner productions where he has “done the crime” but “never the time.” Marois can be reached at dmarois2@gmail.com |
